Faculty

One led the legal function. One built the technology.

The Contract Room is taught by the founders of Leela Works: a lawyer with decades leading legal functions in multinational organisations, and a corporate lawyer turned technology entrepreneur who has spent two decades building software for legal work.

Tripti Mody Sheth

Founder, Leela Works

Tripti has spent decades leading legal functions across multinational organisations: negotiating complex commercial agreements, advising on governance and regulatory matters, and partnering with executive teams on critical decisions. At The Contract Room she leads the working sessions — the review of the counterparty draft, the preparation of the redline, and the building of the playbook — the way a matter is actually run: positions argued, fallbacks priced, and nothing accepted from the tools that has not been checked against the text.

Vivek Durai

Founder, Leela Works

Vivek is a corporate lawyer turned technology entrepreneur. Over two decades he has worked across complex commercial transactions, M&A, legal operations and enterprise software, building legal technology products relied on by thousands of legal professionals. He founded Leela Works, on which the programme is taught, and leads the sessions on capability and professional safeguards: what agentic tools can properly be asked to do, and how their output is recorded and cited.
